There is a saying, "He who sings, prays twice." In my Christian journey, music has been at the very core of my spiritual development. At an early age I discovered within myself the capacity to be in closer relationship with God through music. Influenced greatly by the director of music at my home church.

I studied organ and piano with him and came up through the ranks of age appropriate choirs. Through the combined process of self-examination and musical study, it became apparent to me that my calling in life was to help others come to a deeper understanding of Christ through the avenue of singing and making music. Choosing organ as my principal instrument and choral conducting as my emphasis, I attended Valparaiso University -- a Missouri Lutheran School--graduating with a degree in Church Music. Since then, I have held positions as Minister of Music in four Lutheran Churches, working with people of all ages, all levels of musicianship and all stages of spiritual development.

Each situation has been a blessing both personally and professionally. What a wonderful God we have who comes to us in this language called music. My excitement for it and my love of it makes me eager to share all that I possibly can. Soli Deo Gloria!
