Are you looking for some ideas about what you can do at home to foster faith in your family? Check out the folks at Vibrant Faith. They regularly put out great material that is easy to use and relevant for families today.
Adult Faith Formation
Join us for Bible Study. Sometimes we will take a few weeks to study a single book of the Bible, sometimes we focus on Biblical characters, other times we might branch out and look at something completely different.
Bible Study usually meets on Wednesday mornings at 11am and Wednesday evenings at 6pm (check the church calendar for more detail). Bible study is offered in person and over Zoom (contact the church office for a Zoom link).
Read the Bible in a Year
Have you ever thought to yourself that you'd like to read the Bible from beginning to end? Here's a simple plan that will take you through that goal in 365 days. Give it a try and see what you learn.
Confirmation
Confirmation orientation for the 2023-24 school year will be held on September 10 at 7pm. Any young people who want to prepare for confirmation and their adults are welcome to attend.
St. Michael's offers instruction for young people preparing for the Affirmation of Baptism. Typically, any young person in 7th or 8th grade is invited to participate in these classes. After two years of instruction they may stand before the congregation and confirm their faith through the Rite of Affirmation of Baptism. If you have any questions please let the church office know.
