Our mission is to celebrate and share God's love in Jesus Christ

Ephesians 2:8-10
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God— not the result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are what God has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we may walk in them.
"Created to give, Empowered to grow," is more than a tag line ...
Stewardship is a statement of faith.
We believe that God has created all things and provides for our needs. We believe that God loved us first and that God's love is made known to us most profoundly in Jesus.
Stewardship is our response of thanksgiving in generosity.
We are caretakers of the gifts God gives. Our time, abilities and financial resources do not belong to us as much as they are entrusted to us. God trusts that we will share generously with glad and generous hearts.
Stewardship is an act of worship.
It reveals our priorities and strengthens our commitment to God's mission of life and salvation for all the world. Stewardship is how we live following where Jesus has led the way.
Love + Sacrifice = Generosity
Time and Talent
At St. Michael’s, stewardship is about our whole lives. It is the intentional, joyful sharing of the gifts God has placed in our hands—our time and energy, skills and creativity, compassion and curiosity—offered back to God for the sake of the world God loves.
Volunteering matters because faith is meant to be lived in community and expressed through love in action. When we serve—by welcoming, teaching, singing, tending, organizing, or working behind the scenes—we join in God’s ongoing work of healing and renewal. Service does not earn God’s love; it flows from it. We serve because we have first been loved.
Each of us is uniquely gifted. Some gifts are visible, others quietly essential, but what matters is not the size of the role—it is the faithfulness of the offering. Together, our gifts sustain the life of this parish and extend God’s care into the wider community.
You're invited you to prayerfully consider how you give of your Time and Talent. Reflect on where your passions meet the needs of our shared life and where you sense God’s gentle nudge. You can use the link below to fill out the Time and Talent survey in ChurchTrac or pick up a paper copy of the booklet the next time you're at church. You may respond in whatever way works best for you.
As we do this together, we practice gratitude and trust that God will provide enough—for us and for generous sharing with others. Thank you for your openness in saying “yes” to God’s call. Through the Spirit’s work among us, we grow in faith, deepen community, and serve our neighbors in love.
