The Rev. Christopher Bruesehoff (he/him) is a second generation Lutheran pastor, ordained to ministry in 2003. He began his ministry at St. Michael’s in September 2020, and is excited about being the Church together with this community. Pastor Chris is passionate about worship and the Gospel’s call to work for justice and peace in all the world.

After growing up in New Jersey with his parents and three younger sisters, Pastor Chris went on to complete his BA in Religion at Boston University and his Masters of Divinity at Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. He returned to the Garden State to marry his spouse, Jamie (who grew up here in Cherry Hill), and begin his call as Associate Pastor of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Toms River. In 2009, he and his family moved to northern NJ where he served as Pastor of Holy Counselor Lutheran Church in Sussex.

Pastor Chris and Jamie are parents to three children - Rebekah, Elijah, and Oliver. In his free time, Pastor Chris enjoys reading, hiking with his family, and cooking. To speak with Pastor Chris or to learn more about St. Michael’s please contact the church office.

Paul Makin (he/him), Custodian, is the longest running staff member at St. Michael's. His dedication to keeping our facility clean and ready for the many people who move through our halls every week is a vital ministry in itself. He is the second generation from his family to do so and his son can regularly be seen helping out in similar fashion.

When Paul isn't setting up rooms or straightening something that went awry he is always ready to share stories of St. Michael's with interested members and visitors alike.
